It enables individuals to access as much or as little help as required to enable them to live as independently as possible.<\/p><p>Extra Care Scheme is where residents live in self-contained homes\u00a0\u2013 often a flat or bungalow\u00a0\u2013 but care staff are available to help with getting in and out of bed, washing and dressing.
